Duties and responsibilities include includes designing job descriptions, sourcing candidates through databases and social media, conduct phone screenings, schedule interviews and participating in the full hiring process.

 

Your scope of responsibility

 

  • Work with hiring managers to develop and maintain job descriptions.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define their ideal candidate and refine, as necessary.
  • Post open positions internally and externally.  Announce open positions internally.
  • Maintain and develop pipeline of eligible candidates for future open positions. Must be willing to cold call ideal candidates.
  • Conduct resume and/or phone screens to ensure candidates meet job requirements and possess attributes that positively add to our culture.
  • Review resumes against job descriptions and conduct screening interviews on qualified candidates.
  • Schedule interviews to ensure a seamless process for both the candidates and hiring managers.
  • Provide visitor authorization passes and transport visitors to and from the entrance gate.
  • As part of the interview panel, conduct and participate interviewing of candidates.
  • Follow-Up with candidates in a timely manner at every step of the recruitment cycle
  • Work with external recruiters/temp agencies as needed.
  • Maintain organizational charts with changes as they occur.
  • Maintain SuccessFactors for recruiting activity.
  • Attend and participate in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
  • Follow all relevant company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

What you bring to OCI                                                                                 

Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registrations

  • None

Education, Experience, and/or Training

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of HC and Recruiting functions required.
  • 2-3 years’ of providing HC administrative support and recruiting preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities

  • Ability to ask probing questions to better understand candidates and make educated hiring recommendations.
  • Superb communication (verbal and written) skills, with attention to detail.   Communicates professionally, effectively, timely and courteously.
  • English Language – Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, requiring constant interaction with company employees which requires a positive demeanor throughout even the most difficult situations.
  • Clerical – Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures.
  • Inclination towards working with urgency without sacrificing minor details.   Works well under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Customer and Personal Service – Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Must be dependable and detail oriented.  This position requires the individual to consistently be at work and on time, follow instructions, respond to management direction, and solicits feedback to improve performance.
  • Excellent time management and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.  Highly organized and adapts to quickly changing priorities. 
  • Capable of handling confidential information with sensitivity and maintaining all confidential information is a must. 
  • Capable of planning/organizing as well as prioritizing work activities while using time efficiently and wisely.
  • Always presents a professional image to clients and vendors and maintain a positive reputation of the company.

 

Security Clearance Requirements

  • Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC)

 

Software

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook – required.
  • SAP, preferred

 

Physical

  • Ability to lift 10 lbs. occasionally.
  • Ability to sit for extended amounts of time required.
  • Ability to effectively communicate through various means required.

 

Environmental

  • Work is performed within an office environment, including office equipment – such as computers, telephones, and copiers.
  • Work is performed in the “field”, requiring proper safety equipment.
  • Noise levels are typically moderate-to-loud.
