Ammonia Sourcing Manager

Within OCI Nitrogen, we are currently looking for an Ammonia Sourcing Manager (0,6 – 1 FTE)

What will you do as an Ammonia Sourcing Manager?

The Ammonia Sourcing Manager ensures the development and execution of a robust ammonia sourcing strategy aligned with business, production, and commercial objectives. The role provides critical market insights to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic decision-making while safeguarding supply security and cost competitiveness.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the ammonia sourcing strategy aligned with business and production objectives, supported by continuous market intelligence and analysis.
• Manage supplier relationships and lead commercial contract negotiations to ensure competitive, reliable, and flexible supply.
• Safeguard supply security through effective risk management, coordination with planning, logistics and operations, and timely execution of deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulations, and contractual obligations, while supporting sustainability initiatives such as low-carbon ammonia sourcing.

You recognize yourself in this

• Minimum education level: Higher vocational education (HBO) or equivalent
• Field of study: Marketing / International Business, Business Administration, Business Economics, or a related discipline
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in sourcing, procurement, trading, or supply chain management, preferably in commodities, chemicals, energy, or fertilizers

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of ammonia products, applications, and global product markets
• In-depth understanding of relevant business processes, business steering models, and financial performance criteria
• Solid knowledge of supply chain processes and risk management
• Proven skills in market analysis, regulatory compliance, trade execution, and order management
• Experience with SAP BW or similar business intelligence systems
