Within OCI Nitrogen we have a vacancy for Assistant Controller Manufacturing.
Do you have an affinity with numbers, do you work accurately and are you interested in financial data within a production environment? Do you get energy from optimizing reports and processes? We are looking for an Assistant Manufacturing Controller to support our three Manufacturing Controllers in collecting, processing and analyzing financial data. A varied position in which your eye for detail, proactive attitude and numerical insight come into their own.
What will you do as an Assistant Controller Manufacturing?
As an Assistant Controller Manufacturing, you play an important role in the financial heart of our production organization. You are responsible for collecting, processing and structuring financial data and implementing improvements. You will be responsible for the careful preparation and delivery of various reports in the field of capital investments, fixed costs, maintenance and variable costs. You are responsible for various checks, the clear and concise provision of relevant reports and assist the Manufacturing Controllers in analyzing and interpreting this data.
Your work will include:
- You play an important role in the month–end closing by collecting, processing and analysing fixed costs, variable costs and capital investments.
- Preparing periodic reports and forecast files. You do this by collecting data from different sources (such as SAP, PowerBI and Excel) and translating it into clear reports for management, in which the actual performance is compared to the budget.
- Checking and optimizing administrative processes and templates. You review existing templates, with the aim of making them more efficient, user–friendly and error–resistant.
- Active contribution during budget cycle and monthly updates. You will help the Manufacturing Controllers draw up the annual budget, make analyses and presentations to management.
- Various checks to control costs in the right way.
- Close cooperation with the Manufacturing Controllers and other colleagues within the manufacturing organization.
Who are you?
You work meticulously, like structure, are communicative and have a good sense of numbers. You switch easily between different tasks, are proactive and hands-on, like to get on with it to achieve results and actively contribute to improving existing working methods.
Your profile:
- Completed HBO education in financial direction
- At least 3 years of experience with financial administration
- Good knowledge of Excel, experience with SAP is a plus
- Accurate, reliable and a team player

Wij zijn op zoek naar een Assistant Manufacturing Controller die onze drie Manufacturing Controllers ondersteunt bij het verzamelen, verwerken en analyseren van financiële data. Wat ga je doen als Assistant Manufacturing Controller?
Als Assistant Controller Manufacturing speel je een belangrijke rol in het financiële hart van onze productieorganisatie. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het verzamelen, verwerken en structureren van financiële gegevens en verbeteringen door te voeren. Je zorgt voor het zorgvuldig voorbereiden en opleveren van diverse rapportages op het gebied van kapitaalinvesteringen, vaste kosten, onderhoud en variabele kosten. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor diverse controles, het overzichtelijk en helder beschikbaar stellen van relevante rapportages en assisteert de Manufacturing Controllers bij het analyseren en duiden van deze gegevens
Je werkzaamheden bestaan o.a. uit:
- Je speelt een belangrijke rol bij de maandafsluiting door het verzamelen, verwerken en analyseren van vaste kosten, variabele kosten en kapitaalinvesteringen.
- Voorbereiden van periodieke rapportages en forecast files. Dit doe je door data te verzamelen uit verschillende bronnen (zoals SAP, PowerBI en Excel) en deze te vertalen naar duidelijke rapportages voor management, waarin de werkelijke prestaties worden vergeleken met het budget.
- Controleren en optimaliseren van administratieve processen en templates. Je houdt bestaande templates tegen het licht, met als doel ze efficiënter, gebruiksvriendelijker en foutbestendiger te maken.
- Actieve bijdrage tijdens budget cyclus en maandelijkse updates. Je helpt de Manufacturing Controllers bij het opstellen van het jaarlijkse budget, het maken van analyses en presentaties richting management.
- Diverse controles om op een juiste wijze kosten te beheersen.
- Nauwe samenwerking met de Manufacturing Controllers en andere collega’s binnen de manufacturing organisatie.

Je werkt nauwkeuring, houdt van structuur, bent communicatief vaardig en hebt een goed gevoel voor cijfers. Je schakelt makkelijk tussen verschillende taken, bent proactief en hands-on, pakt graag door om resultaat te behalen en draagt actief bij aan het verbeteren van bestaande werkwijzen.
Jouw profiel:
- Afgeronde HBO opleiding in financiële richting
- Tenminste 3 jaar ervaring met financiële administratie
- Goede kennis van Excel, ervaring met SAP is een pluspunt
