For our Fertilizer business we have a vacancy for a:

Sales Manager Fertilizers France 

The Sales Manager France reports to the Sales Director Fertilizers.

  • You develop and execute the sales plan of Fertilizer products in France by developing, maintain and expanding sales and long term strategic partnerships in order to secure sales and maximize profit on short and long term, in line with product plans, sales/pricing policies and allocation;
  • You are responsible for business development and set up new business in the France market;
  • You ensure and maintain effective relations with potential customers in France and ensure realization of adequate financial processes and other after sales issues (e.g. customer complaints, cash management);
  • Acquires new business by detecting and following up business opportunities, negotiating, establishing contracts and managing local sales agents;
  • Assists and second the Sales Director defining and developing the sales policy and the overall sales plan for OCI Fertilizer products in France.
  • Assists the sales managers in realizing optimal sales results by creating and following up business opportunities, negotiating and establishing long term contracts;
  • You collect and analyses relevant information on market developments and legislation via various channels in order to detect opportunities and threats for the fertilizer business in France and anticipate adequately on them.
  • You participate in projects and executes business cases that contribute to the performance and effectiveness of the business.

Who are we looking for

We are looking for motivated candidates with Bsc/Msc level in e.g. Marketing, International Business Administration or Business Economics, Technology or Sciences. You have at least 3-5 years of experience in sales (B to B) and have affinity with commodity markets, knowledge of Agronomy and Fertilizer business is essential. Furthermore, you have excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English, preferably a third language. You are entrepreneurial, result-, customer- and long-term relation oriented, which is reflected in your negotiation style and skills. Next to that you are agile, fast to react, proactive, energetic and committed. You are willing to travel on regular basis within France and to our central office in the Netherlands.
