Within OCI Nitrogen we are looking for an Engineering Manager

What will you do as an Engineering Manager?

You will provide functional leadership in engineering support, technical assurance, and improvement for the OCIN plants in Geleen, ensuring safe, reliable, and profitable unit performance. You will guarantee the long-term asset integrity and reliability of the plants through excellence in all engineering disciplines, supported by foundational asset master data and IT systems. You will be accountable for organizing asset and integrity engineering, studies, and scoping. Additionally, you will serve as the skill pool lead for the hard engineering skill pool within OCIN.

You recognize yourself in this:

  • You have completed Bachelor/Master in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proven experience in (petro)chemical industry in relevant functional leadership roles (minimum 10 years)
  • Strong background in asset integrity and process engineering
  • In-depth knowledge of fertilizer processes (ammonia, urea, melamine, nitric acid and fertilizers) is a pre.
  • You feel responsible for the work you do and dare to take responsibility
  • Safety is of paramount importance to you
  • You can handle stressful situations well
  • Languages: English and Dutch
