For the Manufacturing IT Operations department at Chemelot we have a vacancy for a:

Business Process Expert

As a Business Process expert you play a pivotal role in the development, deployment, and management of software applications supporting our manufacturing processes. In this role, you will ensure that applications are efficient, secure, and meet business needs while optimizing processes and managing change initiatives. You will work closely with IT teams, stakeholders and various departments to improve manufacturing systems and drive innovation within OCI Netherlands.

Key responsibilities:

  • Translate business needs into functional requirements and improve existing processes.
  • Manage change initiatives and oversee the application lifecycle from development to deployment and maintenance.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks in processes to optimize operational performance.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of IT systems.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure compliance with security standards.

Key Challenges:

  • Aligning diverse stakeholder interests from different departments and suppliers.
  • Ensuring the integration of new applications with existing IT platforms.
  • Continuously improving processes in a dynamic and complex environment.
  • Managing organizational and supplier driven change across multiple teams.

Your Profile

We are looking for motivated candidates with at least a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in technical or business field. You have minimally 2-3years’ experience in Operations Management or IT, preferably in a manufacturing environment. You are skilled in application development, process improvement, and system maintenance. You have strong problem-solving skills and can work  effectively in a fast-paced environment. You are a good communicator and enjoy working with different teams and stakeholders. You are proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to business process optimization.
