Apply for roleThe OCI PM Coordinator / Scheduler will be responsible for developing and issuing maintenance schedules in accordance with the processes defined for Resource Scheduling. The scheduling function will require daily and weekly meeting attendance where scheduling activities are discussed. This includes daily meetings for break reporting and work accomplishment updates. Weekly meetings are required for updating the resource availability in order to resource level the schedule. The Scheduler will ensure the Craft Supervisor are providing resource availability updates weekly for scheduling weeks 1-4. For external resources required for the planned job, the Scheduler will arrange the on-site time for each vendor as the work is schedule. The scheduler will contact the vendor and communicate the activities and time to perform work.
The OCI PM Coordinator will be responsible for maintain equipment strategies within the asset management system. All new preventive maintenance (PM) requests and updates to existing PM strategies will be submitted to the PM Coordinator as approved for entry into the asset management system. The PM Coordinator will work closely with the equipment Specialists, Engineers, and Inspectors to align on equipment strategies and gain approval for entry. The PM Coordinator will also assist in identifying when PMs are due are need deferrals. The PM Coordinator will monitor KPIs to ensure PM compliance is maintained by reporting information to the Superintendent.
Detailed, organized, and structured communication with outside vendors and internal departments is required. Supports all work management processes.
Essential Job Functions
Scheduler
- Ensure Maintenance Supervisors, update weekly, the work center capacities (resource availability) weeks 1-4.
- Develop the schedule by loading work orders in status RTBS (ready to be scheduled) to the schedule.
- Resource load and level the work orders on the schedule by work center.
- Review and understand integrated execution schedule, provide input to optimize the schedule.
- Issue the schedule for review and update as necessary for final schedule.
- Conduct daily schedule meetings to capture the status of existing jobs and update the schedule as proposed in the meeting.
- Schedule outside service requests as prescribed by date from the Planners.
- Ensure that any schedule related change to the maintenance schedule is documented and approved during the meetings.
- Report to the Superintendent when work orders are not being technically closed (TECO) in a timely manner.
- Setup and report maintenance KPIs as prescribed.
PM Coordinator
- Create maintenance plans that include frequency and equipment to be maintained based on maintenance strategies defined by Specialists, Engineering, & Inspection in the asset management system.
- Maintain and update existing preventive and predictive maintenance strategies in the asset management system.
- Create general maintenance task lists for recurring jobs.
- Define the list of activities to represent the maintenance plan with input from the Planners.
- Create measuring points for performance-based maintenance in the asset management system based on recommendations from Specialists, Engineering, & Inspection.
- Assist the Maintenance Supervisors in the preventive maintenance deferral process by identifying upcoming PMs that may need deferral.
- Maintain LDAR (Leak Detection and Repair) program to include notification to Planners when tasks are due as units are down.
- Maintain equipment swaps of spares between the warehouse and the field functional location.
- Generate disposal forms for assets as needed.
- Assist in annual budget planning in regard to preventive maintenance strategies.
- Load measuring point documents created by the Specialists, Engineers, or Inspectors into the asset management system.
Additional Activities
- Assist as needed to create purchase requisitions for necessary materials, equipment or services and order material.
- Assist in emergency or critical priority jobs by expediting materials and coordinating other crafts/resources and fulfilling any other activities (non-standard) assigned by the Superintendent.
- Complete HSE related action items and MOCs as required to finish jobs.
- Always remain compliant with Computer Based Training and LMS Training requirements.
- Provide various reports as needed.
- Always present a professional image to clients and vendors and maintain a positive reputation of the company.
- Follow all relevant company policies and procedures.
- Assists other Departments and other administrative personnel, as necessary.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Experience, and/or Training
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in the chemical or oil/energy industry preferred.
- SAP S4 Resource Scheduling and Preventive Maintenance experience required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Experience in planning for I/E craft with good field experience.
- Previous Planning/Scheduling experience using SAP is desired.
- Strong organizational and effective time management skills.
- Flexibility in managing changing priorities and ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Must be willing and able to work in a strong team environment.
Security Clearance Requirements
- Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC)
Software
- Outstanding proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook required
Physical
- Ability to lift 20 lbs. occasionally.
- Ability to sit for prolonged amounts of time required.
- Ability to effectively communicate through various means required.
Environmental
- Work is performed within an office environment, including office equipment – such as computers, telephones and copiers.
- Requires field walks in and around industrial equipment areas. Climbing and field walks at heights required.
- Noise levels are typically moderate.
Travel
- Less than 10% of the time.
