The Business Coordinator gives professional support to the European Leadership Team Fertilizers  in the development, implementation and optimization of the product strategy for OCI’s Fertilizer products (Nutramon, Dynamon, UAN,  AS, and Low Carbon – Lower Impact solutions) by delivering customized, adequate market information and analysis in order to maximize sales results and the position of OCI Nitrogen as a reliable and more sustainable supplier of fertilizer products.

As Business Coordinator you are the spider in the web for the Fertilizer Business of OCI in Europe. Within the Business team, you will have a central position as you gather, analyze and interpret relevant data and present your data based information to your colleagues, enabling them to make the right business decisions. Furthermore, you coordinate and lead and initiate several supporting activities that contribute to the effectiveness of our business. In this position, you have the chance to prove yourself, get to know our company and prepare yourself for your next challenge. Your key responsibilities in this position:

  • Support the European Leadership Team Fertilizers in the marketing planning process and the realization of the sales planning by delivering customized market information and analyses.
  • Prepare and present management reporting by collecting and analyzing data of fertilizer business results and converting data into relevant management information.
  • Support Business Management in S&OP process by collecting multidisciplinary information, translating this information into an integral allocation plan and advising product management on optimal allocation. For designated products create and maintain the allocation plan, take ownership and align with Business Management.
  • Participate in various multi-disciplinary projects and executes business cases that contribute to the performance and effectiveness of the fertilizer business.
  • Provide a supporting/secretarial role for the team of Business Management Fertilizers by preparing meetings and communicating the needed follow-up.
  • Provide a supporting role for the Sales Team Fertilizers by collecting and reporting ad hoc and structural business / customer data. For AS in particular, take ownership of the pricing registration (purchase & Sales prices) and gain first hands-on commercial experience by pro-actively cooperating with sales managers.

Your Profile

You have acquired a MSc level in a business oriented degree or chemical engineering degree, ideally complemented with a couple of years professional corporate business experience. A recent Msc graduate is very welcome to apply! You excel at making analyses and you easily connect with people. Experience and knowledge of Business Intelligence tooling like Power BI is a pre. Furthermore, you put the result first and have a customer oriented approach. Next to that you speak and write excellent English and Dutch, and knowledge of another major European language (German, French, Spanish) would be a pre. Above all: you are eager to learn and develop your skills and show ambition.
